Gynaecological diseases are quite common in Hong Kong and can significantly impact the daily lives of women of all ages. Regular gynaecological examinations enhance treatment effectiveness and help mitigate related symptoms. Common issues include dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorders, menorrhagia, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Our Centre offers various gynaecological examination services, staffed by experienced obstetricians and gynaecologists who provide tailored treatment plans, including medication and minimally invasive surgery. In addition, the urogynecologists at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Centre also deal with problems related to the female lower reproductive urinary system and pelvic floor structure, such as uterine prolapse, various types of urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, cystitis, nocturia, etc., evaluation and treatment of frequent urination, urine leakage problems, etc.

子宮內膜癌是本港僅次於乳癌的常見婦科癌症，每年約有 1,000 宗新症。雖然暫時未有如子宮頸癌般成熟的全面篩查方法，但早期症狀相對明顯，尤其是「陰道不正常出血」。超過六成患者能在早期被發現，整體5年存活率約 70%，第一期患者更可接近 90%。

每年約有五百多名本港女性確診子宮頸癌，當中約九成與持續感染人類乳頭瘤病毒（HPV）有關，而部分患者在出現「宮頸位上皮內瘤 (CIN)」後，如未能及時發現和妥善處理，約一成可在十年內演變成子宮頸癌。
